The buffalo soldiers

         quickly established

             that they

                were dominant warriors.

     As the United States

          was rebuilding

              after the Civil War,

      many Americans

         were moving west.

     As they moved,

         the government

             forced Native Americans

                 from their homes

                to reservations.

     The Native Americans

         were not pleased with this

             and fought back.
